Our history
Predire Industries has an industrial history spanning more than seven decades. The business has changed, evolved and changed names — but the industrial competence and roots in Sölvesborg have remained.
1947
Jiwe Products AB is founded
Einar Jonsson founds Jiwe Products AB in Sölvesborg. The company starts as a mechanical workshop focused on manufacturing for local industry.
1991
Jiwe Companies
The business grows and is reorganised as Jiwe Companies, with a broader industrial base and more clients in automotive and manufacturing.
1997
Three workshop sites
Jiwe Companies now operates three workshop sites in Sölvesborg, Olofström and Gothenburg. Capabilities expand to cover engineering, fixture building and metrology.
1998
The Sölve unit becomes PEAK Industry
The Sölvesborg unit is sold and renamed PEAK Industry. The business continues to develop with the same staff and the same industrial focus.
2009
Predire Group acquires the business
PEAK Industry is acquired by Predire Group AB and becomes part of a corporate group that gathers industrial competence within manufacturing, measurement and testing.

Predire Industries AB
Under the name Predire Industries AB we today offer a complete range of industrial services — engineering, manufacturing, measurement and assembly — from our workshop on Industrivägen 15 in Sölvesborg. We deliver to customers across Sweden and have a particularly strong position in transport fixtures, steel packaging and vacuum vessels.

Engineering
CATIA V5 for 3D modelling and production preparation. Engineering in close collaboration with the customer, from concept to production-ready drawing.
Measurement & geometric inspection
We also perform measurement and documentation of geometric requirements as a complement to our other industrial services.
Sheet-metal work
Laser cutting, press braking, shearing and bending in steel, stainless and aluminium. Thin sheet and heavy plate.
Welding
MIG, TIG and MAG welding in steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Qualified welders. Pressure testing of tanks and vessels.
Machining
Turning and milling in steel, stainless, aluminium, brass and copper. Single units to short series.
Materials
Steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper and plastic. Material choice adapted to the project's requirements for strength, weight and corrosion resistance.
