2. Data we collect

We collect data you provide to us, for example when you email us at info[at]predire.com:

• Name
• Email address
• Phone number (if provided)
• Company (if provided)
• The content of your message and any attached drawings/files

In addition we collect anonymised visitor statistics through our own analytics service — see section 5. We do not use Google Analytics or any other third-party service.

3. Purpose and legal basis

The data is processed in order to:

• Respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote (legal basis: legitimate interest / pre-contractual measures)
• Maintain dialogue about ongoing or future projects (legal basis: legitimate interest / contract)
• Comply with legal obligations, e.g. the Swedish Bookkeeping Act for invoice-related data (legal basis: legal obligation)

4. Retention period

We retain your data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected:

• Enquiries that do not lead to business: up to 12 months
• Customer and project communication: during the business relationship and 7 years thereafter (Swedish Bookkeeping Act)
• Cookies: as set out in section 5

5. Cookies and analytics

This website uses no cookies for tracking or marketing.

Technically necessary storage

We store an anonymous session ID in your browser's sessionStorage so that we can group page views within the same visit. This is automatically cleared when you close the browser and does not require consent (essential under GDPR/ePrivacy).

If you click "OK" on our banner we also store your choice in localStorage so that we don't ask again.

Our own analytics service

We run a self-hosted analytics service that measures page views, scroll depth, traffic sources, device type, geographic region (city level) and clicks on phone/email links. Your IP address is stored only as a hash (SHA-256) together with a secret salt — the original IP cannot be reconstructed. No personal data is stored, no cookies are set, no data is shared with third parties.

The data is stored on the same server as the website and is used only internally to improve the site.

6. Recipients of data

We do not share your personal data with third parties other than:

• Our web hosting provider (data storage within EU)
• Authorities when required by law

Any transfer to countries outside the EU/EEA takes place with an adequate level of protection under the GDPR.

7. Your rights under the GDPR

Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:

• Access the data we process about you (subject access request)
• Request rectification of inaccurate data
• Request erasure ("right to be forgotten"), unless otherwise required by law
• Request restriction of processing
• Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest
• Request data portability
• Withdraw consent (effective going forward)

8. Complaints

If you believe we are processing your personal data incorrectly you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), www.imy.se.

9. Security

The website uses HTTPS encryption. Personal data is stored on servers within the EU and protected against unauthorised access through technical and organisational measures.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The latest version is always published on this page with the date of the last update at the top.
