Contract manufacturing & machining
Laser cutting, turning, milling, pressing and welding in steel, stainless, aluminium, brass, copper and plastic. From single units to medium-sized series.
Complete contract manufacturing under one roof
Predire Industries offers contract manufacturing in Sölvesborg, Blekinge, with the capacity to handle the entire chain — from individual machining to complete assembly of finished units.
Manufacturing methods
Our workshop is equipped for a broad range of manufacturing methods. We offer laser cutting for precise cutting of sheet and tube, CNC turning and CNC milling for parts with tight tolerances, and pressing and bending of sheet metal in various thicknesses. Welding is performed in MIG, MAG and TIG by qualified welders, and we handle both thin sheet and heavier structures.
Beyond machining we offer sheet-metal work such as punching, nibbling and press braking. By gathering several manufacturing steps in the same workshop we reduce lead times and transport costs compared with using separate subcontractors for each step.
Materials we work with
We process steel (carbon and structural), stainless steel (SS2333, SS2343, SS2352 and others), aluminium, brass, copper and engineering plastics. The material choice is driven by the customer's specification — we are happy to advise on selection based on application, strength, corrosion resistance and economy.
From single units to medium-sized series
We manufacture everything from single prototype parts to medium-sized production series. There is no fixed minimum — we adapt the production setup and pricing to the actual volume. For recurring series we set up fixed routines and material agreements that give shorter lead times and better prices over time.
Assembly
In addition to individual machining we offer complete assembly. That means we can deliver finished units — including surface treatment, rubber components, mounting hardware and packaging — ready to fit straight into your end product. By gathering manufacturing and assembly with us, you reduce the number of suppliers and simplify your logistics.
Engineering and documentation
Have drawings? Send them in any CAD format or as PDF. If you do not have production-ready documentation, our engineering department — working in CATIA V5 — can produce complete manufacturing drawings from your sketch, an existing part or a functional description. The close link between engineering and workshop means we can optimise parts for manufacturability already in the engineering phase.
FAQ about contract manufacturing
We work with steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass, copper and plastic. The choice of material is driven by the customer's requirements for strength, corrosion resistance, weight and budget. We are happy to help you choose the right material for your application.
No, we have no fixed minimum. We manufacture everything from one-off prototypes to medium-sized production series. Contact us with your requirement and we will adapt the setup and price to the volume.
Lead times vary with part complexity, material and our current workload. Simpler parts can be delivered within 1-2 weeks, while more complex projects normally take 3-6 weeks. We always confirm a delivery time with the quote.
Yes. We offer complete assembly of finished units, including surface treatment, rubber components and packaging. You can receive deliveries that are ready to fit straight into your end product.
Absolutely. We accept drawings in all common CAD formats (STEP, IGES, DWG, DXF and others) as well as PDF. If you only have a sketch or an existing part to start from, our engineering department can produce complete production drawings.
